What can you record in one place?
Start with the activity you already do. A gym session can include exercises, completed sets, repetitions and weights. A run can include a GPS route, duration and estimated pace. Meals and water entries help you see what you recorded that day. Streaks and missions are motivational counters within the app, rather than evidence of fitness, health or a comparison with other users. A missed entry does not mean a failed week.
How do the AI coaches use context?
Rex and Zara use different conversation styles. The coach request can include profile information such as your stated goal, weight, diet preference, water entries, streak and recent workout. This helps frame a conversation, but the response still needs your judgement. Ask a specific question and correct missing context. AI calls require a signed-in account and an internet connection. They can fail or return incomplete suggestions, so do not rely on them during an emergency.
Which tools are useful for Indian routines?
Food planning includes vegetarian, eggetarian and non-vegetarian preferences, along with familiar Indian ingredients. Homemade dishes still vary: your dal, oil quantity and serving bowl may differ from an app entry. Training can fit a home or gym setting, while running depends on your device location permission. Choose features that match your schedule and available equipment instead of trying to complete every module each day.
What stays on your device?
Progress-photo image files stay on the device where you save them. Photo metadata and account records can sync through Firebase. An image deliberately submitted for an AI comparison is sent for processing; local storage does not mean that a requested AI upload stays offline. Save copies of photos you want to keep before uninstalling or clearing app data. Account deletion clears the current device, not image copies on another phone. AI photo feedback for local images is not yet confirmed working in this prelaunch build; use the manual gallery and comparisons.
What should you check before launch?
SHREDR is coming soon on Google Play. The planned pricing is ₹99/month after a 7-day free trial — launching soon. Public purchase and trial activation are not available in this build; approved test accounts may have an Admin grant. There is no advertised yearly plan or free tier. Check the pricing page for the current status rather than assuming a website login activates premium access.
What questions do people ask?
Does every feature work offline?
No. AI, authentication refresh and cloud syncing need internet. GPS may collect location without mobile data after the app is ready, but map tiles need internet and background recording depends on device behaviour.
Are progress photos cloud backups?
No. Their image files are stored only on your device. Keep your own copies if you need a backup. Selected images are transmitted only when you request an AI image feature.
Does SHREDR replace a trainer or doctor?
No. It provides tracking and general AI guidance. Consult a doctor or qualified professional about medical conditions, pain, rehabilitation, nutrition restrictions or exercise technique that needs individual assessment.
